Earlier this month Barack Obama won the US Presidency. At Grant Park in Chicago hundreds of thousands of people celebrated in unity as he gave his victory speach. It was an incredible experience, but I didn’t realize ’til the next day, when I saw this AP video essy, just how incredible:

That was Tuesday, November 4, ’08. Three days later I had a gig in Chicago, at Bass Goes Boom, the montly party at Lava. I decided to 
start my set with Obama’s speach. The crowd went wild! Unfortunately I was too busy dancing to pay attention to my mixing. None-the-less I think today — Thanksgiving — is a good time to share the mix.
